Snickerdoodles

Well after searching for new recipes for Snickerdoodles....I think I have found it. I did have to add a few things to it! But overall I give it 4****s!


SNICKER DOODLES

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in a mixture of 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.

Caroline is 1 today!!!

Our sweet baby is one today!!!! It is amazing how the time has flew by....but what fun we have had just in the first year. A lot of people say" She looks just like everyone else in the family!" She does...But she has a personality all her own! We love you so much Caroline and are thankful you are in our family. Happy 1st birthday my sweet babe!

The DOG!!!

The funniest thing that happened the weekend.....Our dog escaped from the dog-sitters house while we were gone to Eagar. She made her way from almost a mile from our house. She had never been in the area before but she figured out how to make it home. She planned it so well....We arrived home and she had probably been on the front porch for less than one hour. The kids think the dog had been planning this since we dropped her off on Thursday. We are just glad to have our Terri Lynn back at home with her family!!!

Grant tried to avoid the camera all weekend. But in our household that is impossible.

Later that night we all went to go watch the fireworks down by the river. Once we got there all the kids piled in Uncle Troy's truck and watched to show.

Between the parade, BBQ with all the family and wonderful fireworks. We had a fabulous 4th of July!!!
