My Present!

Mathew said..."Mom look I got you a present!" And of course when someone says that to you ...You just have to lOOk!!!
I thought this was so cute I had to ClIck my CaMeRa!

Nativity

When GramE and Grandpa Eagar were here on Christmas Eve the kids dressed up and we talked about the real meaning of Christmas.

After taking pictures the kids did a fun picture of the nativity....Hopefully it wasn't to sac religious but boy did they have fun with it all.

FAKE

The girls got fake princess hair from Santa this year! It was the funniest thing to watch! But they are having a ball with it!

MERRY CHRISTMAS.....

We had a fantastic Christmas! Santa brought Forrest and I a new camera! So I think my picture taking will improve. The kids got almost everything they wanted...But not a WII for christmas. I think they think Santa has tons of cash for something like that. So we told them Santa is broke...Look at all the other kids he has to get presents for! So that got Santa off the hook for another year!!!

Here are some pictures of our holiday!

My siblings!!!!

Well when my brother came to see my mom in the hospital he came for a week! How I wish he could just move here! Today was one of the last days he was here and my kids had a fablous time playing with "Uncle Jay"! When we got home tonight I found Mathew teary eyed on his bed...I ask him what was bothering him? He said he was going to miss Jay and wanted him to stay! Then I proceed to tell him that he would come back and visit. The plus that Mathew had to look forward to was that he would be bigger and taller then Jay and when he came again. He just might win that game of Around the World that Jay taught them today! Then I told Mathew that the next time Jay comes....Jay would be older and might not be able to catch up with him. After my talk with Mathew, He had this huge grin on his face from ear to ear!!!! So that only makes you wonder what wheels were turning in his little brain!
I am sure glad Jay got the chance to meet my kids......I am sure glad that my kids got to meet my big brother! I love you and will miss you!!! Hopefully the next time I see you it will be moving here for good!

Dinosaur Cont......

These are the last of them! Grant didn't put color on his mask! He made his look like the Lone Ranger! That and since he would be 12 soon. I think he was trying to act mature! But deep down I know he really wanted those feathers!

Dinosaur Museum....

Well GramE told us about the Christmas Special happening at the Dinosaur Museum a.k.a Arizona Museum of Natural History. It turned out to be a Christmas around the world. So they had these little booth that the kids could do little crafts at. At each booth they talked about the Christmas in the different parts of the world. I think the kids like the booth about Brazil the best. They got to make masks and decorate them with feathers. So here are some of the pictures and I will load one more post with pictures. For some reason they would only let me do 5 pic's????

Grant's Orchestra Concert

Grant had his winter concert on the 9th of Dec. and he did a bang up job on it. He plays the Bass in the Orchestra. He never really picked the instrument it picked him. He was the biggest kid in 4th grade and they need a bass player. It has really worked out great. He has loved playing it...but not practicing!

DECORATING.....MORE..AND MORE!!!!!

Before my mom went back into the hospital for blood clots....We took it upon ourselves to decorate her house for her! So my sweetie put up lights on the outside of the house with Grant's help. Then the little kids and I decorated the live Christmas tree. Mathew helped make the stockings for my parents. Once he learned the art of glitter.....He wanted to use glitter on all the craft projects this year.

Blah.......

So does anyone have that blah kinda day???? That is how I am feeling today. The house is a mess, the clothes are piling up, and I have absolute no desire to clean. I think the feeling of actually caring how my house look has gone out the window......flew to China and never to return! Deep down I care but it seem like I don't have time. These days I can't even get my kids to school on time. This tardiness happens at least once a week. Today they were on time !!!!!-----Yes miracles do happen!----

Just to give everyone an update on my mom:

Her surgery ended up being a quadruple by pass and she did well for the first week and half. Then she had some symptoms of shortness of breath and tiredness. So the Dr's decided to have her get a CT scan at the ER. Once the results came in we found out that she had a Pulmonary Embolism in her lungs. Which meant there were blood clots and lots of them. Late Friday night I got a phone call that said come to the hospital now! So I got in the car at 2:45am and drove 30 miles to find my family all together in the waiting room. Getting the news from the doctors----They were finally able to get her stable and her heart had started to go into a good rhythm. I found out later in all the talking to family. That apparently her body was going crazy and they couldn't do much more for her. So the doctor told Jeannie, You need to come to the hospital and come now.
It really puts life in perspective when you are so close to losing your mother. I know I have many things that I have resentment about from difference that my mother and I have had in the past. But all I wanted at the moment in time was to just see her and to say as many prayers for her that I could.
Well it has been almost a week since that has happened and she is recovering wonderfully. They think she will be out in another 7 days. Just in time for Christmas. This Christmas season I am so thankful to my heavenly father for not taking my mother and leaving her with us. So that we can love and have more time with her!

Mathew was so excited about the tree this year. He ask if we could plant it in the backyard when Christmas was over. He really wants to save the tree for next year! When Forrest and I broke the news to him....about the whole cuting a tree down and then throwing it away, he was so sad! Poor little guy!

Caroline and Sweet Potatoes

When Caroline had her 4 month Check up and she is officially in the 17 pounds arena now! Then you can tack on 5 oz. on the weight ! Now I know why I have such good bicepts! So when we were at the doctor's office. She told me that Caroline can start her eating a lot of things(i.e. cereal, juice and some food). So we tried mashed sweet potatoes..... I don't think she really liked them as you can tell by the photos! But she did good for her first try!
