One last post for today!!!

2 months....and growing!!!

I can't believe my baby is 2 months old today! It makes me sad....It has gone by so fast. With Caroline I have tried to savor all the sweet moments with her everyday. But it is also so exciting to see her grow! I got my first smile and noises from her today! It was very awesome...When she was talk'n to cute!

Who did that?????

Have you ever had a question for your kids????? Well my third child is loves markers and now that she has started school. All she does is write her name on everything. Then when you ask who did this???? She denys it....Then I tell her I know you did it. She says how do you know??? I then tell her it is your name. I think today we are going to invest in a large spiral notebook for her so she can write in all the time.

Do you want to know how bad it is with the writing???? She even writes on the inside of my kitchen cabinets!!! How bad is that? Any ideas on how to curb her addiciton?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my birthday! I can't believe that I am 34....When I was teenager, I thought people were over the hill when they hit there thirties. I didn't think I would ever get this old! But looking back, I wouldn't change anything. The one thing that I would do is be smarter with my money and finish college.

After the holidays I am going to try to start school again. Which I am really happy about. After having 5 kiddos and always doing things for them. I have decided that I want to do this for me...Overall it will benefit everyone. Forrest has always said Go back to school it would be great! But I always either forget to register or have some other project to do. After I had Caroline I was really wanted to register for the fall semester. But that didn't happen.....I haven't even been able to get a shower everyday. So I thought to myself????? Why the heck would I sign up for school if I can't get organized enough to get a shower everyday!!!!

Enough of the ramblings of Jodi today!!! Sometimes Forrest will ask what am I thinking about???? I sit there and think you don't want to know.....When I start talking I go from one subject to another in the same breath. A lot of people can't keep up with what subject I am on! So that is why I keep it to myself!

Back to my birthday....I had a great day! My friend Marykate came over to visit and we went shopping at our favorite store! FRESH and EASY it is a local grocery store. They have awesome sales on there discontinued items. Some people would say....grocery shopping......are you crazy! It is weird I know! But I love to shop at the grocery stores! I hate clothes shopping for myself but I like to shop for the kids and Forrest. My other store that I love to shop is 2nd hand stores! I am all about how much $$$$$ I can save! That and when I shop at the 2nd hand stores I am recycling!

On Saturday, Forrest took me out to Red Robin for burgers! I had a guacamole bacon burger and it was so Yummy!!!!! I love being able to go out for dinner now and actually have room to eat! When I was pregnant with Caroline, my belly was so big I had no room. I would have a salad & two or three bits of the main course.....I was finished after that! So to able to eat a regular plate of food and be full is awesome!!!! I had such a great time with my hubby! I love spending time with him! Well that is it for now! The girls and I are going to play group today---Which I love because it keeps them busy and they don't mess up my house. The girls are very notorious for getting into a lot of trouble at home. When they go to other peoples' homes they are good and stay out of trouble! That is why play group is so important!!!!

Dog!!!!!

Well if anyone came to the blessing......You found out that we got a dog! Forrest ran out of excuses for us not to get one. So I found a free dog on the Craig's List. I think we got the best dog ever, she is 3yrs old, housebroken and loves to play fetch. Which is good because she is a little over weight.....needs exercise! We don't really take her on walks a lot because she is scared of other dogs. But when the doorbell rings she barks her head off...then once she sees the person. She is so scared she takes off and hides. I have such a ferocious dog!

Snip Snip!!!

This is what happened when I fell asleep for a few minutes! I was nursing Caroline and dosed off for just a few minutes and Anna was now sporting an "80's" looking mullet. So once the other kiddos got home I took her to the salon and had them fix it as much as they could. When it is done up it looks really cute. Out of all the kids she is the one that cut her hair the most. The others just did a tiny bit. When I was at the salon, I asked the woman if she had ever seen anything so bad.....Her reply was"This is nothing... I have seen far worse before!" After that curiosity got the best of me and I had to ask???? What was the worst? Appartently, the salon owner had left her clippers down and her daughter got a hold of them and when straight down the middle of her head....totally bald down the middle....So Anna's little snip snip really wasn't that bad!

Caroline's Blessing

Happenings

Well the happenings for today were very busy. My mom and dad came over and helped with yard work and general cleanning of my house for me. The biggest change for my yard was colorful plants....they were all free. My mom has a good talent for rooting different plants in her yard and she was nice enough to give me her current stock of plants. What she planted is called Ruella it has dark green leaves with pretty purple flowers. It makes the yard pop! I am very thankful for the help! With Forrest's new job he has been swamped with work so I am very happy my folks are always willing to help.

Tomorrow I am going to try to tackle the inside of my house and laundry!

My mom and dad came over today to help get ready for Caroline's Blessing. So in the mix of everything I got some cute pic's of my dad holding Caroline. I just found out today that apparently this rocking chair was my dad's grandpa's chair. So now my dad gets to hold his 9th grand child in it.


I thought it was great to know all this info.....I just need to make sure that may kiddos don't rock to hard or ruff house to much. It is amazing how furniture holds up when it is well made.

Carpet!!!

Well Forrest and I have been super busy trying to get ready for Caroline's blessing on the 14th. We got a call on Thurs. morning from Brother Taylor in the ward....He was able to help us find some one to lay our carpet. So I have this beautiful beige carpet in my living room.

Labor Day....

Grant and Mathew played in the pool at the neighbor's house. Boy did they have fun and got some sun too!
