So long....

Sorry it has been so long since I blogged last....I truly didn't realize that it has been so long. So here are the happenings at our house...

Miss C swing from the lamp in the family room. She is walking fairly well but still falls on a regular basis. But is an excellent climber!

My new hobby is making bread.....Thanks to all who have willing tried my experimental loaves before I found the right recipe!

Miss C got her first taste of a chocolate milkshake....I gave her only one sip but I never got it back after that.

AND....THE BIGGEST NEWS!!!!!

ELLA LOST ANOTHER TOOTH!!! She is so cute when she talks and smiles w/ the hole in her mouth.

We have been really busy with all most everyone in school now a days. Even Forrest and I are going back to school online. Forrest is finishing his language for his bachelors and I am barely starting mine. But so far there isn't much we can't handle.

I have a secret.....

As most of you know

I am not one to organize things.

After a good friend cleaned out her storage locker because she moved out of state.


I had to do this...

Clean out my food storage closet.

This is the end result!

So if I haven't returned calls or answer the phone lately I have been busy.....But after it is all done. I really like how it turned out and now I am ready to stock my closet full.

First day of school

Grant is going to 7Th grade this year!
Mathew is in 3rd grade and Ella is in Kindergarten!

Here is all the kids that got up early.....We are talkin 6:25 Am to make sure they were early!
I was sad to see them go....But was happy for the quiet in the house. They are loving there new teachers and everyone is settling into a route.

Snickerdoodles

Well after searching for new recipes for Snickerdoodles....I think I have found it. I did have to add a few things to it! But overall I give it 4****s!


SNICKER DOODLES

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in a mixture of 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.

Caroline is 1 today!!!

Our sweet baby is one today!!!! It is amazing how the time has flew by....but what fun we have had just in the first year. A lot of people say" She looks just like everyone else in the family!" She does...But she has a personality all her own! We love you so much Caroline and are thankful you are in our family. Happy 1st birthday my sweet babe!
