Most people don't know this but my mother-in-law loves to take pictures. Sometimes it is a hassele because the older kids give us a run for there money and don't obey! But the younger ones are so good about it. So I am thankful my mother-in-law carries her camera with her all the time. So she can capture the special moments like this one! "Most people don't know this..." Where have they been living, under a rock!? We have always joked a bit about Aunt Linda being armed with film at all times. NO ONE in my family likes to get their picture taken.
But then Jared died. Aunt Linda had been at Thanksgiving that year and "forced" us all into a photo moment. Then later framed it and sent it as a gift. (so thoughtful)
I can't tell you how grateful I am for that picture and your mom.
It changed me too. Now I try to take my camera everywhere and I always cooperate when someone wants my pic. I still feel ugly and fat but life is too short to let that get in the way.
I love that picture too, so sweet of the two of you.
I think anyone with even a little Eagar blood in them hates to have their picture taken, me included. Laurel's right I am so grateful for Aunt Linda's talent and the pictures of family she has captured over the years for us. We are lucky to have someone so thoughtful in our family.
