First day of school



I was sad to see them go....But was happy for the quiet in the house. They are loving there new teachers and everyone is settling into a route.

Snickerdoodles
Well after searching for new recipes for Snickerdoodles....I think I have found it. I did have to add a few things to it! But overall I give it 4****s!
SNICKER DOODLES
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in a mixture of 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
