Well we ordered lots of chicken but they aren't all for us. We had a couple families that wanted to start having chickens. So as most mormons do we got in bulk. It was alot cheaper to do it this way. All you have to do is order them on the internet and the post office delivers them to the house. Our neighbors little boy was asking where I got them from and I told him I ordered them off the computer. He was so amazed about it. When he was telling his mom....He said "Jodi went to her computer and chicks just came out of the computer screen. So when can we order ours?" So next time I need to clarify about the whole shipping process for the neighbor kid.

For added information for all who are curious.....Barred Rock chicks are the egg layers and the Cornish Cross chicks are for dinner. The Cornish Cross chicks are a meat bird and they put on enough weight in 6-10 weeks you can butcher them. So I will have a freezer filled with chicken around christmas time.

1. I hate having my family load the dishwasher if they don't do it just right it annoys me.
2. I took sing lesson when I was 15 and was in the Sound of Music production the same year.
3. I love to sleep with the T.V. on
4. I hate snakes---they creep me out. When I was a kid I would have the weirdest dreams of snakes trying to bite me.
5. I hate shopping for clothes if things aren't on sale.
6. I love chocolate and Dr. Pepper I eat them anytime of the day.
7. I love ketchup and relish on my polish hotdogs. Forrest thinks this is the nastiest thing ever.

Growing.....

Well Caroline got her 2 month check up yesterday! She is 23 inches long and 14.8 oz lbs. She is in the 90Th percentile for her age. So in Eagar terms she is right on schedule with all of other kiddos. The doctor said she was very healthy and looked great! I am very thankful for that!

I look back when Ella was a baby and she was 4 1/2 weeks early. She struggled to learn to eat and I had to monitor for months to make sure she was getting enough food. That is why I love that Caroline is flourishing. Caroline has decided that she is a breastfeed only baby. So it is really good that I am a stay at home mommy.

That is all there is to report for today! The rest of my day will be spent cleaning and more cleaning,....I want to try to have a nice looking house for Sat. and Sun. Conference. That way we can just sit and relax and listen to the Prophet.

2 months....and growing!!!

I can't believe my baby is 2 months old today! It makes me sad....It has gone by so fast. With Caroline I have tried to savor all the sweet moments with her everyday. But it is also so exciting to see her grow! I got my first smile and noises from her today! It was very awesome...When she was talk'n to cute!

Have you ever had a question for your kids????? Well my third child is loves markers and now that she has started school. All she does is write her name on everything. Then when you ask who did this???? She denys it....Then I tell her I know you did it. She says how do you know??? I then tell her it is your name. I think today we are going to invest in a large spiral notebook for her so she can write in all the time.

Do you want to know how bad it is with the writing???? She even writes on the inside of my kitchen cabinets!!! How bad is that? Any ideas on how to curb her addiciton?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my birthday! I can't believe that I am 34....When I was teenager, I thought people were over the hill when they hit there thirties. I didn't think I would ever get this old! But looking back, I wouldn't change anything. The one thing that I would do is be smarter with my money and finish college.

After the holidays I am going to try to start school again. Which I am really happy about. After having 5 kiddos and always doing things for them. I have decided that I want to do this for me...Overall it will benefit everyone. Forrest has always said Go back to school it would be great! But I always either forget to register or have some other project to do. After I had Caroline I was really wanted to register for the fall semester. But that didn't happen.....I haven't even been able to get a shower everyday. So I thought to myself????? Why the heck would I sign up for school if I can't get organized enough to get a shower everyday!!!!

Enough of the ramblings of Jodi today!!! Sometimes Forrest will ask what am I thinking about???? I sit there and think you don't want to know.....When I start talking I go from one subject to another in the same breath. A lot of people can't keep up with what subject I am on! So that is why I keep it to myself!

Back to my birthday....I had a great day! My friend Marykate came over to visit and we went shopping at our favorite store! FRESH and EASY it is a local grocery store. They have awesome sales on there discontinued items. Some people would say....grocery shopping......are you crazy! It is weird I know! But I love to shop at the grocery stores! I hate clothes shopping for myself but I like to shop for the kids and Forrest. My other store that I love to shop is 2nd hand stores! I am all about how much $$$$$ I can save! That and when I shop at the 2nd hand stores I am recycling!

On Saturday, Forrest took me out to Red Robin for burgers! I had a guacamole bacon burger and it was so Yummy!!!!! I love being able to go out for dinner now and actually have room to eat! When I was pregnant with Caroline, my belly was so big I had no room. I would have a salad & two or three bits of the main course.....I was finished after that! So to able to eat a regular plate of food and be full is awesome!!!! I had such a great time with my hubby! I love spending time with him! Well that is it for now! The girls and I are going to play group today---Which I love because it keeps them busy and they don't mess up my house. The girls are very notorious for getting into a lot of trouble at home. When they go to other peoples' homes they are good and stay out of trouble! That is why play group is so important!!!!
