What is everyone doing to be more self-reliant?
Forrest and I are mapping out our garden and will start planting around the end of the month. We are in the process of getting chickens and finish building our coop. I will be keeping everyone posted on our goings on at our endeavour. Hopefully I can help with questions on gardening or chickens. I just really want to inspire all of our family and friends to be self-reliant!

Focus.....Focus...Focus
Caroline is still working on how to focus her beautiful blue eyes! When you start talking to her she likes to go cross-eyed when looking at you. It is quite entertaining at times.....I finally got pictures of it. I thought it was quite adorable so had to share!!!!!
Phoenix Zoo
We tackled the zoo today with 5 kids! It went quite well. We saw just enough to make everyone happy and we left before the little kids started crying. All in all it was a good day. We did some walking around on the Arizona Trail and then we had tickets for the zoo train. We took that for a nice ride on the farther parts of the zoo. The kids really didn't worry about not seeing all the zoo today. Since we have a membership we will go back when it is cooler. Even Caroline did really well with the whole trip. Usually she fuss and fumes when she is out of the house for to long but she did wonderfully today.

New Hat!
Well a little short someone got a new hat today! Anna! She wanted me to post a picture of it on my blog....So here it is! If you guys can't see it very well in the pio's it is High School Musical ball hat. She is very proud it it, I am too！Since it was clearanced to 3.00!

Caroline
It is hard to believe Caroline is one month and a day old. She has grown so much it is hard to believe.....All of her wrinkly skin is now all full of fat. She has little fatty arms and legs. I just love it! So I took some pic's after her bath tonight!
